Hoosier
Riverwatch |
Hoosier Riverwatch trains adult volunteers to monitor
water quality in local streams, lakes, and rivers.
Volunteers attend an eight-hour training to learn the basics of
surface water quality and how to assess water quality by examining the
physical site, determining the type of macro invertebrates living on the
water bottom, and conducting several chemical tests.
Hoosier Riverwatch also sponsors an Adopt A River program for
stream clean-up. |
