Need soils information for a property?  Click here to go to the NRCS Web Soil Survey.  

To find the limitations for the soils found at your site follow the directions below.  

~  Identify your location by creating an Area of Interest (AOI).

~  Next Click on the Soil Data Explorer tab.

~  Next select the Suitabilities and Limitations for Use tab.

~  Within this tab there are nine different categories that can be used to determine the limitations the site’s soils will have.  Usually the Building Site Development and Land Management are the primary categories used but this may not be the case for every site.
