SPAD Meter

The Elkhart County SWCD has a SPAD meter for land users to borrow to measure “greenness” or chlorophyll content of a plant in a field. You can find out more about the SPAD meter HERE. If you are interested in borrowing the SPAD Meter please call the SWCD office at 574-523-2030.


Cost Share

Conservation Cropping

Through a Farmer-focused and Farmer-driven process, The Indiana Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative works with local level partnerships and others to promote the adoption of practices and cropping systems that can lead to improved soil health. You can check out more about this program HERE.
